The Mitsubishi Electric FR-A520-0.75K belongs to the FR-A500 family of transistorized inverters and is designed for variable-speed control of three-phase induction motors. With a 0.75 kW motor capacity and 5 A rated output current, it provides a practical solution for compact industrial machinery and automation systems requiring controlled motor speed and acceleration. The drive accepts a three-phase 200 V-class power supply and supports output frequencies from 0.2 to 400 Hz.
For flexible machine control, the FR-A520-0.75K supports both V/F control and advanced magnetic flux vector control. The inverter provides adjustable acceleration and deceleration times from 0 to 3600 seconds, DC injection braking, stall prevention and multiple-speed operation. Frequency commands can be supplied through analog signals including 0–5 VDC, 0–10 VDC, ±10 VDC and 4–20 mA, making the drive adaptable to different industrial control architectures.
The FR-A520-0.75K also incorporates protective functions including overcurrent, regenerative overvoltage, undervoltage, overload, ground-fault current, output short-circuit and heatsink overheat protection. The compact 0.75 kW model has an approximate weight of 2.5 kg with the operation panel and uses an enclosed IP20 construction with self-cooling. It can be considered for machinery such as conveyors, pumps, fans, machine tools and other automation equipment where a Mitsubishi FR-A500 series replacement or compatible drive is required.
