The Mitsubishi Electric FR-A820-00167-1 FREQROL-A800 VFD is an industrial three-phase 200 V-class inverter designed for variable-speed control of AC motors. With a 2.2 kW Normal Duty motor capacity and 11 A ND-rated output current, it is suitable for machinery and automation systems requiring controlled motor speed, acceleration and deceleration. The FR-A800 platform provides flexible configuration options for different motor-control requirements and industrial operating conditions.
The FR-A820-00167-1 supports several motor-control technologies, including V/F control, Advanced Magnetic Flux Vector control, Real Sensorless Vector control and Vector control. Its output frequency can be set from 0.2 to 590 Hz, while Advanced Magnetic Flux Vector, Real Sensorless Vector and Vector control have a maximum frequency of 400 Hz. Mitsubishi Electric also specifies adjustable acceleration and deceleration times from 0 to 3600 seconds, allowing the inverter to be configured for different machine operating characteristics.
The inverter incorporates a built-in brake transistor, IP20 protective structure and forced-air cooling. Its multiple SLD, LD, ND and HD duty ratings allow the FR-A820-00167 to accommodate different motor-load conditions when correctly configured.
